A Historic Venue for a Truly Unique Wedding
Desirae and Tom’s wedding at Scranton Cultural Center was an absolute dream. As two people in the wedding industry themselves, their day felt like a joyful celebration with friends—but the kind where every detail was perfectly curated. The venue’s historic architecture, marble floors, soaring ceilings, and intricate decorative details gave us endless inspiration for photographs. From the grand theatre to the library and multiple floors of hidden corners, every space offered a new opportunity for stunning portraits. If you’re considering a northeastern Pennsylvania wedding venue, the Scranton Cultural Center is not only beautiful but incredibly versatile, offering dramatic interiors, gorgeous natural light, and local vendor resources that make planning seamless.

Thoughtful Details and Local NE PA Vendors
This wedding was such a treat to photograph because of the dream team that brought it to life. The florals by Central Park Flowers were moody, romantic, and perfectly complimented the historic architecture. Desirae and Tom’s lounge and reception design by Pepper Lavender Design Co. added elegance and fun—highlighted by candles, candelabras, and cozy seating areas. The band, Nowhere Slow Band, and cocktail musician Craabe Music kept the energy and intimacy of the evening balanced perfectly. Even the signage from Alex Enz Designs, the cake from Minooka Pastry, and the rentals from Scranton Rent All added thoughtful, elevated touches that made the day truly seamless.
Desirae’s gown from Dress Lounge was romantic and timeless, paired beautifully with hair and makeup by The Bridal Above, and Tom looked sharp in a suit from Tuxedo by Sarno. Even small touches, like their Constantino’s Catering coordination and a sentimental movie from their engagement, added layers of personal storytelling to the day.

Moody, Romantic, and Unforgettable
The Scranton Cultural Center is ideal for couples who want a wedding that’s both historic and versatile. Its dramatic theatre, marble floors, grand ceilings, and multiple floors offer countless photo opportunities, from intimate library portraits to grand ballroom celebrations. There are so many nearby locations for outdoor shots too, making it easy to create a full gallery without leaving the area. Hosting your wedding here also gives access to incredible local vendors who know the space and how to bring your vision to life, just like Desirae and Tom’s dream team.
